Herbs and Hedgerows

A day spent making herbal soaps, pillows and bags

This day will start with some soap making using herbs and plants found on the Somerset Levels.  We will not be hunting for them, but will use dried that I have spent 2011 collecting and drying.  This is a basic course and we will spend some time looking at ingredients and soapmaking. We will also look at herbs that can be used in other products and make some hop and lavender sleep pillows, chamomile bags and other relaxing goodies.

Lunch will be provided from the on-site 'Eco-bites' and there will be plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits.

The day will run from 10am - 4pm, but if you want to play for longer then anything is possible.
